Over the past several years, drug shortages have continued to complicate the routine delivery of health care in the United States. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently tracking nearly 100 shortages resulting from a host of causes, such as the consolidation of markets and manufacturers, limited availability of raw materials, and quality problems resulting in product recalls and delivery interruptions

美國有非非常多的Opiod-like drugs(illegal drugs),毒品氾濫是相當嚴重的!!!....台灣的安寧緩和條例對實際有幫忙嗎?!....都是立法委員與學者(沒水準!!!)立的法!!!我每次住院都簽拒絕急救(DNR,No Intubation...); a每次護理師都要問,還是延伸到是否拒絕藥物治療(?); 就只好請她找住院醫師(醫師助理--資深護理師,我知道無法對談!!!)..........好痛苦!!
