琉璃苣（學名：Borago officinalis）是一種一年生草本植物，原產於敘利亞，目前已經被廣泛引種到歐洲、西亞、北非和南美洲等地。
琉璃苣株高一般為60-100厘米，葉互生粗糙，有柄，5-10厘米長，葉和莖上都有毛刺；花的花瓣5裂，通常為藍色，但也有粉色或白色的變種，為疏散的聚傘花序，同株異花授粉，夏季開花，但在氣候溫暖適宜的地區可全年開花；果實為小堅果。
琉璃苣的葉和花都可以作為蔬菜食用，作為藥用可以治療乾咳，有催乳、益腎等功能，目前大量種植琉璃苣主要是採收種子以提煉種油，琉璃苣的種油含有17-28%的γ-亞麻酸（順-6，9，12-十八碳二烯酸）[1]，此外還含有26-38%的脂肪酸，10-11%的棕櫚酸，3.5-4.5%的硬脂酸，16-20%的油酸， 35-38%的亞油酸，3.5-5.5%的花生酸， 1.5-3.5%的芥子酸和1.5%的神經酸（順-15-二十四碳單烯酸），種油可以代替月見草油，治療風濕、濕疹和月經不調，
乾燥的花也可以泡茶，是一種藍色的食品著色劑。
